Day 15- Great Wall, Science Museum, Bethel Birthday

第十五天－长城，科学博物馆，爱百福生日

那一天是一个很长的一天，也是一个很有趣的一天。

早上我们八点多就起来了上车去长城。我们做了两个小时的车。等我们到那儿时候，我们做了空中缆车。在车上中我往下一看，下面有几个人去爬山去上长城，而我们是做缆车。我不想做缆车，我想像他们一样去上山爬山，然后去爬长城。因为我觉得如果我们做缆车，那这就不叫做“爬长城”了，因为我觉得如果你想爬长城，那你就得走到底。毕竟长城是一种锻炼吗。

我们在走长城的时候到是挺好玩的。Amy他这人跟我一样，不喜欢别人把他当成残疾人，所以她就给妈妈和江阿姨看了看走长城对她是有多么的简单。想到这儿倒挺好玩的。（照片在下面）

快到中午的时候江阿姨想让我们走回去，但Amy和我还是想走。然后江阿姨就说：“那一会儿你得走回去。”可是我不管，我想要继续走。但是，最后我们还是决定要走回去了。

下一站就是科学博物馆。在我们要离开长城的时候，Amy就说她不想走。她觉得博物馆一点儿都不好玩儿的。不过我们还是要走的。我倒是觉得她倒是挺可爱的。

我们在科学博物馆遇到了一个志愿者。她给我们看了一些东西，之后Amy就开始玩一个叫“曹操”的游戏。有一个叔叔过来教她怎么玩，但是她老是弄不好。但是，她并没有放弃。好多人都说她好执着呀。我真想像她一样执着。最后我们得要走了，但她不想走因为她还没弄好呢。不过最后我们还是得要走了。我忘了她最后弄没弄好，我觉得她好像弄好了。她还是跟上次一样说爱百福一点没兴趣。（曹操游戏照片在下面）

我们很喜欢他们表演的节目。那里有四个主持人，之中的一个人是Tracy。那里的孩子也很可爱的。Amy和我有时候都被感动了。

等他们节目表演完了，Amy超想见那些爱百福的小孩。我们先见Tracy，不过她好像不想跟我们说话，所以我们就去看别的小孩。我好喜欢那里的小不点儿，他们真的是好可爱呀！之后又一个男孩叫Michael开始跟Amy说话，我和Michael的一个朋友就站在那儿听她说话。Amy也跟法国爸爸和法国妈妈说了话。法国爸爸和法国妈妈是爱百福的创始者。

已经很晚很晚了，是时间走了。Amy很不想走。但是我们还是要走。等我们到家的时候我是好累好累。我真想直接睡觉，干脆不洗澡了。不过我还是要洗澡。我大约十点才睡觉的。

那一天真的是很长的第十五天呀！

Day 15 was a very long day and also a very fun day.

In the morning we got up at eight to go to the Great Wall. We rode two hours in the car. When we got in there, we rode cable car. In the car I looked down, down there were a few people in the mountain climbing, but we rode in the cable car. I don’t want to ride cable car. I want to climb the mountain like them, and then go to the Great Wall. Because I think if we ride the cable car, then that isn’t called “go to the Great Wall”, because I think if you want to go to the Great Walk, then you have to walk to the end. After all the Great Wall is a kind of an exercise.

It was funny when we were on the Great Wall. Amy is like me, doesn’t like people to treat her as a person with disability, so she showed mom and Joy how easy it is for her to walk on the Great Wall. Thinking about that it’s so funny.

When it was almost noon Joy wanted us to walked back, but Amy and I wanted to keep walking. Then Joy said, “Then you have to walk back.” However, I didn’t care, I just wanted to keep walking. However, at the end we still had to walk back.

Next stop was Science Museum. When we were about to leave the Great Wall, Amy said that she doesn’t want to go. She thought the museum is not fun. However, we still have to go. I thought she is pretty cute.

We met a volunteer at the science museum. She showed us some stuff, and then Amy started to play a game called “Cao Cao”. There was one man who came and taught her how to play, but she just doesn’t play it well. However, she didn’t give up. Many people said she is very determined. I really wanted to be as determine as her. Finally we have to go. I forgot if she finished or not, I think she finished. She still like last time said Bethel is not fun.

This is the game "Cao Cao". To win this game you have to bring the big square down. I like that game. （这是“曹操”游戏，你得把拿着大方块拿下来才能赢呢。）

We liked their show very much. There had four hosts, one of them was Tracy. The kids in there were very cute. Amy and I sometime even felt touched by it.

When their show finished, Amy want to talk toBethel kids so badly. We first saw Tracy, but she seemed didn’t want to talk to us, so we went to see other kids. I liked the kids in there, they are so cute! Then there was a boy name Michael who started talking to Amy, Michael’s friend and I just stood there and listened to them talking. Amy also talked to “Fa Guo baba, Fa guo mama” (French dad, French mama). They are founders of Bethel.

It was super late, and it was time to go. Amy didn’t want to go. However, we still had to go. When we came home I was super tired. I really wanted to just go straight to bed, don’t shower. However, I still had to shower. I went to bed about 10 o’clock.

That day was very long!

Day 6- People Park and Fountain Show

第六天－人民公园和喷泉表演

第六天是一个自由的一天。上午我们人民公园去健身健身。Amy和我很喜欢玩健身器。我们两个人的福利院都有一些健身器而且我们以前都玩过。我们有时候还比赛谁的身体更有灵活。

晚上我们看了看喷泉表演。那有几首歌我们知道的。我们那时候很高兴！我们的翻译Elsie找一了些照片。这是一些照片（请看下面）：

在南昌的第六天到挺好的。

The sixth day was a free day. In the morning we went to the people's park to exercise. Amy and I liked to play with some fitness stuff. Both of our orphanages had some fitness stuff that we played with before. Sometime we even contested who's body is more flexible.

That evening we saw a fountain show. There were some songs that we know. At that time we were very happy! Our translator took some pictures:

Ears Pierced

耳洞

在中国我在福利院或学校的时候从来都没有珠宝。Lucy在他去澳大利亚州的时候扎了一对耳洞。我那时候很像扎耳洞以为我觉得很漂亮。但是，我觉得那很疼，所以我就没有弄。

很多的美国主课女同学告诉我我应该扎耳洞。但是，我不想扎耳洞。他们经常拿这个跟我开玩笑。

然后我决定我要扎耳洞。我们去了Claire扎耳洞。那天我的父母和我两个姐姐在那儿。那倒是花了我一些时间因为我想让那两个耳洞一模一样。当我扎耳洞的时候，我很喜欢。

在周一当我去我的柜子的时候。其中的一个朋友问我：“你是不是打你的耳洞了？哦，不是，这是假耳环。”在我打耳洞的时候，我有时候穿吸铁耳环和夹子耳环。在我的看法，这两个都没比正常的二话好。那个吸铁耳环老是掉而且夹子耳环特疼。我很高兴我打了耳洞。

我给她们看了看我耳朵的后面让她们看我是真的打耳洞了而且很多的女孩来了。我觉得他们的反应和好玩。他们连我第一节课的老师都告诉了。那个老师问：“我能看你的耳环吗？”“不行”我回答。然后她就笑了笑，“即使你的头发是盘起来的？”然后我们就笑了。

In China I didn't wear any jewelry in school or at the orphanage. Lucy had her ears pierced when she went to Australia.  I wanted to get my ears pierced too because I think it's very pretty. However, I thought it's ouch, so I didn't get.

Many of my America core classmate who are girls told me that I should get my ears pierced. However, I didn't wanted to get my ears pierce. They often joke with me about that.

Then I decided that I'm going to get them pierced when I still in sixth grade. We went to Claire's for it. That day my parents and my two sisters were there. It took a while because I wanted to be sure the holes were exactly the same. I liked when I got ears pierced.  

On Monday when I got to locker. One of my friends asked me, "Did you get your ears pierced? Oh, no those are fake earrings." Before I got my ears pierced, I sometime wore magnetic earrings and clip earring. In my opinion, none of them are better than the regular earring. The magnetic earrings always fell off and the clip earrings hurt. I am glad that I got my ears pierced.

Anyway, I showed them the back of my ears to prove they were pierced and many girls came to me. I think that it was funny how they acted. They even told my first period teacher. The teacher asked, "May I see your earrings?" "No" I answered. Then she laugh little bit, "Even when your hair is up?" Then we laughed.

Michigan- Fun!

密歇根-有趣

我们会在每个夏天的八月去密歇根看我妈妈的家庭。我第一次去的时候很好。

当我们到那儿的时候，那里的天气挺好的。我祖父母里沙滩很近。我老是在那里游泳。那时候我不知道怎么游泳，但我的父母试着教我。我学得很慢。有时候我妈妈会跟我在水里玩玩。我那时好挺开心的。我也划了一会儿船。那也是挺有趣的。

我的外婆喜欢玩UNO，那是一个美国游戏。我经常赢因为我不让被人有机会去攻击我。哈，我很聪明吧！我很喜欢那个游戏。我们在那个游戏有好多的笑声。

我的表弟让后她跟我玩了一些Wii，也就是一个视频游戏。我跟他也有一个很好的时间。我有两个表兄弟。一个比我小一个月，一个比我大一点儿。我们的关系到挺好的。

当我回到了家，我问了问如果我们能不能在密歇根待的时间要比四天长一点儿。他们说行。我很高兴。

第二次和第三次我们没有游泳的那么多因为天气不怎么好，但我们还是跟祖父母玩的挺好的。

We would go to Michigan every summer in early August to visit mom's side of the family. My first time to Michigan was really fun.

When we got there, the weather was really nice. My grandparents live near beach. I swam at the beach all the times. At that time I didn't know how to swim, but my parents tried to teach me. I learned very slow. Sometimes my mom would play with me in the water. I had a lot of fun. I also went kayaking. It was fun too.

My grandma likes to play UNO. I like it very much. I often won because I didn't let the other players chance to attack me. Ha, I'm so smart! I like it very much. We have a lot of laughs in the games.

My cousin came over and play wii with me. I had fun times with him too. I have two cousins. One is one month younger than me, one is little older than me. We get along with each other vey well.

When we came home, I asked if we can stay more than four days in the Michigan because I really like it. They said yes. I was very happy.

The second time and third time we didn't swam much because of the weather, but we still had a good time with my grandparents.

Bicycle

自行车

在中国我从来都美国学过怎么骑自行车。有几次我看到那些打孩子骑行车然后我就问阿姨。阿姨们说不行因为我不知道怎么骑。那时候我就想：当然了，我会知道怎么骑如果您能教我的话。这又不是不可能的事儿！

当我来到美国，我开始学怎么骑自行车了。这花了我很多时间学的。一开始我很紧张，我的父母走在我的身边。然后我妈妈把脚蹬给拿下来因为这样会更简单一些。我觉得这很简单，但我摔了很多次。郑老师说这件事是会发生的，我只要继续努力就行了。所以我努力了。我觉得我很笨因为我学了自行车学了很长时间。但是，我从没有放弃过。在中国如果我遇到难题的话，我老会说：“哼！我就不信我不能做！”所以我就努力努力再努力。

在一个月底的时候我做到了！我可以骑自行车了！耶！我很高兴！我还是有很长的路要走因为我只能在平的路上骑。但是，我做到了基本的骑行车技术！

In China I never learned how to ride a bicycle. I saw the big boy rode the bicycle couple times and I asked the nannies. The nannies said no because I didn't now how to ride. At that time I thought: Well, I would know how if you could just teach me. It not like an impossible thing to do!

When I came to America, I start learned how to ride a bicycle. It took me a month to learned how to ride. At first I was very nervous, my parent walked beside me. Then my mom took the peddles off because it would be easier. I thought it was very easy, but I fell many times. Mrs. Zheng said it happens, just keep trying. So I did. I thought I was very stupid because it took me a long time to learn how to ride a bicycle. However, I never gave up. In China when I bumped into something that it's very hard, I would always said, "Humm! I can't believe that I can't do it!" So I just keep trying and trying.

At the end of the one month I did! I can ride a bike!!! YEAH!! I was so happy! I still have a long way to go because I only can ride at level floor. However, I made to the first basic level!
